AIM Heat Exchangers is an engineering and manufacturing company dedicated to providing high-quality custom-engineered shell and tube heat exchangers. We are a family owned business with more than 65 years experience in the industry.

Our products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA from our plant in Orchard Park, NY. This gives us complete control over the engineering and manufacturing cycle.

Design & Drafting

AIM’s in-house design & drafting personnel utilize the most current CAD and SolidWorks programs.

We can provide preliminary outline drawings within 5 days of request.

Additional approval documents such as CAD Outline Drawings; ASME Code Calculations; ASME Certified Weld Procedures/Procedure Qualification Records; and NDE Procedures can be provided in less than two weeks.

Compress is the software of choice for mechanical design and ASME Code calculations, and AIM utilizes it.

Our Process

When you choose AIM for your exchanger needs, you'll be provided with the highest level of customer service in the industry. Within a few days of order placement, your sales engineer will complete a 115-point checklist to outline all details of your project. Then they'll schedule an internal kick-off meeting with our Mechanical Engineering Department, who will start mechanically designing your exchanger(s) to comply with all applicable specifications and codes.

Every project, large or small, is then assigned to a dedicated Project Manager who will honestly communicate with you about your production schedule and target dates. Once we set your milestones, we are serious about meeting them. Our 65-year, proven track record of delivering on-time, on budget, and on-specification speaks for itself.
